Cancellation Policy

At Allstar Limousine & Tours, we understand that plans change. We strive to make our cancellation process as fair and straightforward as possible. This policy outlines the notice requirements, refund terms, and procedures for canceling a reservation with us. Please review this policy carefully at the time of booking so you understand your options.
Standard Rides (Sedan, SUV, Sprinter Van)
Standard ride bookings include airport transfers, point-to-point transfers, hourly charter service with sedans, SUVs, and Sprinter vans.
Full refund: Cancellations made at least 24 hours before the scheduled pickup time.
50% charge: Cancellations made less than 24 hours but more than 2 hours before the scheduled pickup time.
Full charge: Cancellations made less than 2 hours before the scheduled pickup time, or no-shows.
Charter Bus Services
Charter bus bookings include minibuses (28-passenger), mid-size coaches (40-passenger), and full-size coach buses (56-passenger) for any purpose.
Full refund: Cancellations made at least 48 hours before the scheduled departure time.
50% charge: Cancellations made less than 48 hours but more than 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.
Full charge: Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled departure time, or no-shows.
The extended notice period for charter buses reflects the significant logistics involved in reserving a bus, assigning a CDL-certified driver, and blocking the vehicle from other bookings. We appreciate your understanding.
Event and Wedding Transportation
Event and wedding bookings include all transportation arranged for weddings, proms, quinceañeras, corporate events, galas, and other special occasions — regardless of vehicle type.
Full refund: Cancellations made at least 72 hours (3 days) before the scheduled event date and time.
50% charge: Cancellations made less than 72 hours but more than 24 hours before the scheduled event date and time.
Full charge: Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled event date and time, or no-shows.
Event and wedding transportation requires extensive advance planning, including driver scheduling, vehicle preparation, route planning, and coordination with venues. The 72-hour notice requirement allows us to potentially rebook the vehicle and driver for another client. For large or multi-vehicle wedding bookings, we may require a non-refundable deposit at the time of booking — this will be clearly communicated in your booking confirmation.
Tours
Tour bookings include Houston city tours, NASA Space Center tours, Galveston tours, and all other guided tour packages.
Full refund: Cancellations made at least 24 hours before the scheduled tour start time.
50% charge: Cancellations made less than 24 hours but more than 4 hours before the scheduled tour start time.
Full charge: Cancellations made less than 4 hours before the scheduled tour start time, or no-shows.
For tours that include third-party admission tickets (such as Space Center Houston admission), the refundability of the ticket portion depends on the third-party venue's own cancellation policy. We will make every effort to secure a refund on your behalf, but cannot guarantee refunds for third-party tickets.
No-Show Policy
A "no-show" occurs when a passenger fails to appear at the designated pickup location within the complimentary waiting period (15 minutes for standard pickups, 30 minutes for domestic airport pickups, 60 minutes for international airport pickups) without contacting us to cancel or modify the booking. No-shows are charged 100 percent of the total fare with no refund. Our chauffeurs will attempt to contact you by phone and text before departing the pickup location. If we cannot reach you after multiple attempts, the ride will be recorded as a no-show.
Weather and Emergency Exceptions
We understand that severe weather events and emergencies are beyond anyone's control. Houston is no stranger to hurricanes, tropical storms, severe thunderstorms, and flooding — events that can make travel unsafe or impossible. Our weather and emergency exception policy is as follows:
- If a government authority issues a mandatory evacuation order, travel advisory, or road closure that directly affects your route, you will receive a full refund regardless of the notice period.
- If severe weather (hurricane, tropical storm, flooding, ice storm) makes travel genuinely unsafe as determined by local authorities or at our professional discretion, you will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule at no charge.
- If your flight is canceled by the airline due to weather and you had booked an airport transfer with us, you will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule for your new flight.
- In the case of personal medical emergencies, we will work with you on a case-by-case basis to provide a fair resolution, which may include a full refund, credit toward a future booking, or rescheduling at no charge. We may request documentation in these situations.
Normal rain, wind, or typical Houston summer heat do not qualify as weather exceptions. Our vehicles operate safely in all normal weather conditions, and our chauffeurs are experienced in navigating Houston roads during inclement weather.
How to Cancel a Reservation
To cancel a reservation, please contact us through one of the following methods:
By phone: Call us at (281) 254-1718. Our team is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Phone cancellations receive immediate confirmation.
By email: Send your cancellation request to towncars@allstarhouston.com. Include your name, booking confirmation number, and the date and time of the scheduled service. Email cancellations are processed during business hours and confirmed via reply email.
The cancellation time is determined by when we receive your cancellation request, not when the request was sent. For time-sensitive cancellations, we strongly recommend calling rather than emailing to ensure immediate processing.
Refund Processing
Approved refunds are processed within 5 to 7 business days and returned to the original payment method. Credit card refunds may take an additional 3 to 5 business days to appear on your statement depending on your bank or card issuer. If you have not received your refund within 14 business days of our confirmation, please contact us and we will investigate promptly.
Modifications to Reservations
If you need to modify your reservation (change the time, date, pickup location, or vehicle type) rather than cancel it, please contact us as soon as possible. We accommodate modifications at no charge whenever possible, subject to vehicle and driver availability. If the modification results in a higher fare, the difference will be charged. If the modification results in a lower fare, the difference will be refunded. Modifications to event and wedding bookings may require additional notice.
